Sam imagines a world where physical limitations and perceived wisdom operate in flux.Her practice and approach to placemaking has activism at its heart and she believes firmly in the ability of art to affect change, translate experiences, and transform places.
Her work draws from her childhood experience growing up in local theme park, Drayton Manor, where her family (and later she) worked.
Using play structures, bold graphics and colourful pattern she dreams up environments that evoke joy and curiosity for audiences old and young.She creates immersive environments, imagined and physical.Experiential places of joy that tell a story through sight and touch and smell, oh all the senses. Holistic spaces that transport you.Places where you get to experience a new idea or an old idea through a new lens.She strives to unleash playfulness across the world, to live it and breath it.
